Education was a place where it was not created equal. The whites were given the best education many getting a 4 year education. The black on the other hand were giving very minimal or no education. There were great need to improve the system many could not agree on what should be included leading to the Dewey system being created and used in many school.

Many people were given education. The good education was left for the white people most were given a 4 year education. Public education wasn't equally available to everyone. It was not agreed on what should be tought. Blacks were give very little education. The school system was expanded and the Dewey's system for hands-on-skills activities were adopted.
